Woo hoo! I won a Pattern Pyramid Giveaway! In case you haven't been following along, Karen at Did You Make That? started this whole thing off by splitting up a big lot of patterns that she was gifted into six groups and sending them off around the world. I've eagerly been following the patterns as they criss-crossed the globe. I ended up winning The Bookworm Sewist's giveaway, and now you could win too!
The deal is, I choose one pattern from the collection and a "Pattern Pyramid Make" tag to mark my future make. I'll send the rest on to the lucky winner of my giveaway. You then host a giveaway on your blog and continue to spread the love.
There was quite a range in the package I received. And quite honestly, I couldn't envision myself wearing coveralls or midriff-baring tops, so that eliminated 4 patterns right away. I ended up picking Simplicity 2362. I'm envisioning a light sundress made from this crazy fabric! I found it at the local thrift store, and although it's crazy, I'm kind of in love with it!!!
Also, to sweeten the pot, I added two more patterns. Simplicity 8285 is a vintage pattern that wasn't my size (bust 36"), but would be super cute as a house dress! The other is Butterick 5649. This is a cute skirt pattern that would be a great wardrobe builder! I somehow ended up with two of the Butterick pattern, so you could now win it for yourself!
